  • See Mrs. Brennan's reading log sample as a guide: Mrs. Brennan's Sample Reading Log.pdf
  • See reference sheet as a guide: **remember it is glued into page 18 in your agenda so you always have it as a reference**: Reference Guide Sheet for Reading Log.pdf

If your child is Absent:

  • Your child is still expected to read for 30 minutes daily, even when absent from school.
  • Students should also complete the Reading Log for that absent day, so that the log will receive full credit if possible.
  • Please note however, that if your child is out for an extended period of time, or does not receive the Reading log hard copy, due to being absent on a Monday, there can be exceptions to this rule and the child can be excused from the completion of the log on a case by case basis.
